Trial Events
Trial Events will occur on Friday May 19th.
Reminder that only official team members (competitive or alternate) are allowed to compete in the trial events.
Also remember each team is given one time slot to compete.
Division B
AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE: Participants will solve problems and answer questions about agricultural sciences using their knowledge of ecology, animals and plant biology, and environmental chemistry. This year’s competition will focus on year 1 topics.

SOLAR POWER: Teams must construct a collecting device prior to the tournament that is designed to collect heat and complete a written test on alternative energy concepts.

WRITE IT CAD IT: One participant will write a description of an object and how to build it. The other participant will attempt to construct the object in a computer-aided design (CAD) software from this description.

ROBOT TOUR: Teams design, build, program and test one Robotic Vehicle to navigate a track to reach a target at a set amount of time as accurately and efficiently as possible. ***In order for more traveling teams to compete we have removed the impound requirement for Robot Tour.
Location: Woolsey Lobby/Atrium *** this is a spectator event and individuals are welcome to watch from designated areas or the second floor balcony.
